"Typography in Motion:
A retrospective – from the beginnings of the film until today
Letters or characters are no more the static medium that they used to be a long time ago. The exhibition ‘Moving Types’ presents 125 years of typography in motion by showing internationally important filmic examples. Since that time, not only pictures were set in motion but also letters. These letters began to move, became multidimensional, and were equipped with special attributes and sometimes even character traits." Source: http://www.moving-types.de/en/
In my master program we had the task of creating a concept for an exhibition,
in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum.
We were required to structure all internal
and external responsibilities which meant organizing meetings and developing the
main concept of the exhibition. The major function was to classify a range of typography films and develop primary drafts.
